Founded by Jill Poser, CGCM, CMC, CDCP, a seasoned care manager and dementia specialist, Life Care Concierge of South Florida is built on a simple belief: exceptional care is where expertise meets compassion. We bring structure and calm where there is confusion. We bring strategy and heart when families feel overwhelmed.

My Why: From Purpose to Profession 

I’ve always believed in giving back. From a young age, I knew I wanted my career to reflect a deeper purpose that would allow me to serve others in a meaningful and lasting way.

While running a showroom specializing in kitchen and bath renovations, I was introduced to the concept of becoming a Certified Aging in Place Specialist. It was a turning point. I realized I could use my background in construction and project management to help older adults remain safely and comfortably in their homes. It brought together everything I cared about—service, purpose, and impact.

Coming from a large family rooted in values of care and community, this work resonated deeply. But I wanted to do more. As I built relationships in the field, I learned about Geriatric Care Managers and was moved by their holistic, long-term support for aging individuals. Their work wasn’t just about care — it was about dignity, connection, and advocacy.

Motivated to deepen my role, I went back to school and became a Geriatric Care Manager. Since then, I’ve helped many families navigate aging-related challenges, always guided by one clear truth: most people want to remain at home, and their families will go to great lengths to make that possible.

In 2017, the work became personal. My father’s sudden health decline and my mother’s progressing dementia brought these challenges into my own life. I experienced firsthand the emotional and logistical weight of caregiving—the grief, decisions, quiet moments of presence. It changed me. It made my professional path more personal and my sense of purpose even stronger.

Today, I bring not only professional expertise but lived experience to every family I support. My goal is always to help clients feel seen, supported, and empowered during life’s most vulnerable transitions.

As Maya Angelou said, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” That’s the legacy I strive to leave.
